A number of factors should all be taken into consideration when choosing Barcode Ribbon, i.e.:
- Media Type: Whether printing on Paper or Film or Taffeta?
- Media Width: Ribbon width should be more than media width.
- Printer Type: Flat-head, or Near-edge, or TTO?
- Core: 1 inch ID or 1/2 inch ID. Fixed Width or as per Ribbon Width. Whether notches required or not?
- Ink Side: Whether coated side 'in' or 'out'?
- Print Color: Black or Coloured.
